Every year, I eagerly anticipate the Sun ‘n Fun Airshow, and 2025 is no exception. This event has become a cherished tradition for me, not just because of the incredible airplanes and performances, but also because of the wonderful friends I’ve made over the years. It’s a time to reconnect, share stories, and create new memories together.
The Sun ‘n Fun Airshow is more than just a showcase of aviation excellence; it’s a celebration of community and camaraderie. I’ve met so many amazing people at this event, and our shared passion for aviation has forged lasting friendships. Whether we’re marveling at the aerobatic maneuvers or simply enjoying a meal together, the bonds we’ve formed are truly special. Every year at this show I help my amazing friend Neil Glazer – owner of PilotMall.com and High Flying Models showcase their products and airshow merchandise.
This year’s lineup of performers is nothing short of spectacular. From the thrilling aerobatics of the Blue Angels, the graceful glides of the gliders, the thunder of military aircraft shaking the ground with their engines as they fly by at over 700MPH, or the amazing sunrises with hot air balloons filling the sky, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The precision and skill of these pilots never cease to amaze me, and their performances are a highlight of the event.
But what makes the Sun ‘n Fun Airshow truly unique is the sense of belonging it fosters. It’s not just about the airplanes; it’s about the people who come together to celebrate their love for aviation. The amazing people I’ve met and friendships I’ve made here are a testament to the power of shared interests and the joy of connecting with others who share your passion.
As I enjoyed the 2025 Sun ‘n Fun Airshow, I can’t help but feel grateful for the experiences and friendships this event has brought into my life. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the best part of an event isn’t the spectacle itself, but the people you share it with.
This year I even had the rare opportunity to hang out with the Blue Angels, some of their crew, and families in their exclusive area as a special guest to Commander Bryan – Blue Angel #1.
