Whether she enjoys listening to music, podcasts, or taking hands-free calls, wireless earbuds offer convenience and comfort. Opt for noise-canceling features for immersive audio experiences and consider brands known for their sound quality and durability.

The “30 Second Rule”

How long does it take to describe your investments and investing strategy?

Here’s a short and sweet rule to aim for: If it takes you longer than about 30 seconds to completely describe how you invest your money, then:

  • it’s too complicated, or
  • you don’t understand it well enough

In either case, you risk making mistakes. Overly complicated investment strategies are not required to build consistent wealth over time. Investments take time to appreciate, and time is what builds wealth.

Not complexity.

Here’s your challenge for today: Mentally describe your investment strategy to yourself or your spouse. Time yourself. If it takes you longer than 30 seconds, you have a problem. It’s either too complicated or you don’t understand it.

Here is another Challenge:  If you use an Investment Advisor, ask them to explain your portfolio and management plans to you.  The “Trick” of the financial advisor business is to make investing seem complicated – justifying their existence.  It is likely what they are doing for you, can be easily done by yourself – saving you what could potentially be more than a million dollars over your lifetime.

There’s Going To Be A New Time Zone

Time zones are hard enough to keep track of as is, but now the White House wants NASA to add another: Coordinated Lunar Time (LTC).

If you haven’t already guessed it, LTC is the moon’s time zone.

The White House’s Office of Science and Technology Policy issued a letter on Tuesday last week addressing the goal. According to the memo, having a time measurement that unifies the moon and other “celestial bodies” makes space missions more efficient.

It’s true that time moves differently on the moon, and using any Earth-based time system would result in a loss of time.

The letter elaborated that “knowledge of time in distant operating regimes is fundamental to the scientific discovery, economic development and international collaboration that form the basis of U.S. leadership in space.”

In other words, space is the future. It only makes sense to give it a time zone!

The People You Choose

“I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up all alone. It’s not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people who make you feel all alone.” – Robin Williams

Who you choose to spend your time with is the most important decision.

Choose wisely.

Warmly (but not too warmly, it’s April!),
