The transformation of a manuscript into a professionally published piece is a journey I find immensely rewarding.
In the past few months, my guidance has aided several authors in realizing their literary ambitions. I am pleased to introduce their notable publications:
Americans We Were – By Henry Thomas Weber
(From the Author) Who can turn the shadowy portents of destiny, or change the course again of that which is meant to be? Do you wonder as I, if it is not too late for America? Or are the glorious days of her past only a remnant of remembrance now? What strange fate may lay in store for this once great nation, and as a people, is it not prudent we should be aware of the grave hour in which we are living, in the light of these foreboding days, such as they are? Reluctantly I say, it would appear America may be approaching the threshold of some forthcoming, fantastic, and final conclusion.
And so a nation hangs in the balance as it were. Divided. Decline and degradation follow. A nation once blessed by an infinite and Almighty God seems blessed no more. What once was proper and fitting is deemed unacceptable in our day. If a great empire should rise and fall, shall it rise again? Never in the annals of recorded history however has a nation risen to such lofty heights in the right of individual liberty than in this great Republic we call America. And yet, the glory is indeed waning.
Does freedom yet ring true in the hearts of those who are willing to sacrifice for its eternal reward? I only ask. Therefore, I invite you to come along with me, following back along the ancient pathways of our ancestors, the ways of God which were tried and true, for they were a people of good report, honorable and upright, righteous in all their ways. We shall walk along the still waters of contemplation; into a vast journey of remembrance you may never forget.
To freedom-loving Americans everywhere, destiny is calling; it lay in the possibility of the impossible, in that utter certainty of hope which is in God, in the eternal reward of His redemption. Glory unto the Father of all Liberty, in God may we trust.

“The Young Don” is a gripping tale that unfolds against the backdrop of 20th-century America, tracing the remarkable journey of an Italian immigrant family. A woman and her husband, Sicilian natives, embarked on a new life in the United States in the 1930s. Their family grew to include four children: Luka, Rosa, Freddy, and Marco. Tragedy strikes when the father has a fatal accident, thrusting the responsibility of supporting the family onto the young shoulders of Luka, the oldest child.
As the story unfolds 25 years later, the family grapples with the harsh realities of life in New York City. Luka’s chance encounter with a criminal transaction catapulted him into the underworld of organized crime. His physical strength and resilience impress a mob boss who recruits him as a hitman, offering a lucrative salary to help lift the family out of poverty.
Meanwhile, Rosa’s life takes a dark turn when she becomes a victim of sexual assault by her neighbor. Haunted by her perceived lack of beauty and love, she turns to prostitution to sustain the family, as their mother Anna disowns Luka due to his criminal involvement.
Freddy drops out of college to work and support Marco’s dream of becoming a lawyer, believing that his brilliant but cunning younger brother can elevate the family’s fortunes. The stage is set for a gripping narrative of ambition, deceit, and the allure of power.
The heart of the story lies in Marco’s ascent to notoriety as a brilliant lawyer representing the city’s crime families. He navigates a complex web of relationships, eventually capturing the admiration of a New York Senator. As his reputation soars, Marco becomes indispensable to the criminal elite, representing their interests in the courtroom. However, his insatiable thirst for power leads him to orchestrate a calculated coup.
Corruption runs rampant in a morally bankrupt New York, and Marco extends his vision not only to New York but also to Las Vegas, employing Machiavellian tactics to try to establish his empire.
“The Young Don” is a thrilling work of fiction that immerses readers into Marco’s love stories as well as the gritty underworld of crime and ambition, as it explores the cost of power and the depths one family will descend to protect its own.
